The following mounts which drop from various bosses are considered neutral and can be used by any race: Swift Zulian Tiger , Swift Razzashi Raptor , and Deathcharger's Reins. Unlike in Shadowlands, in Burning Crusade Classic, your speed does not scale based on your riding skill rank. Higher riding skill ranks simply let you ride faster mounts, or flying mounts.

For example, you cannot ride an epic mount unless you learn Journeyman first. Most players heading into Burning Crusade Classic will, therefore, probably need to farm for quite some time to start flying. Last but not least, you will probably want to know where the Riding Trainers are for both Horde and Alliance.

Thankfully, they are quite easy to find, and if you've been to the Shadowmoon Valley area, you should have no trouble getting to their locations. Close to Ilsa Blusterbrew, you will find Brunn Flamebeard also in Wildhammer Stronghold, who will sell you some flying mounts.

Comment by Lylas The riding trainer in Brill does not teach flying, and there is no flight trainer in Undercity. You have to go to Org or the Outlands if you're Horde.

Comment by Lyariana The costs on this page are slightly out of date. Expert Riding cost me g in Hellfire Peninsula and a further g was needed for the flight master's license. Mounts were 40g each.

Comment by twobrainedman Expert riding is now learned at 58! Edit: Only applies to druids and flight form. I hit lvl 58 in blackrock spire and learned flight form and expert flying.

As a Blood Elf, I got a quest to visit Maztha in Orgrimmar at level 60 - who then wouldn't actually allow me to buy the expert riding for g, the pre-requisite for Flight Master's Licence. Someone helpful suggested it was a faction trained skill. Return to Orgrimmar once again. Now Maztha sells me Expert Riding. Go figure.
